DEI Policy
Diversity, equity, and inclusion are not a side note at Last Man Standing — they are the reason the mic gets passed around in the first place. Everyone who loves to sing deserves a place in the spotlight, and these are the commitments we hold ourselves to.
Accessibility
Karaoke belongs to everyone. We work to make sure our events are open to people of every background, ability, and circumstance — from accommodations for singers with disabilities to multilingual resources and venues that welcome all walks of life through the door.
Representation
Who you see on stage and behind the scenes matters. We push for diversity across our leadership, our event lineups, and our promotion, and we go out of our way to lift up the voices of communities that have been underrepresented in karaoke.
Equity
We know the playing field is not level for everyone. We build policies and practices that close those gaps and give marginalized singers the resources and support they need to step up and compete on fair terms.
Education & Training
Understanding grows with learning. We give our members, staff, and volunteers ongoing training on diversity, equity, and inclusion so the whole community moves forward together.
Accountability
Real change means holding ourselves to it. We check our progress against these goals regularly, listen to feedback from our community, and own up to the places where we still fall short.
Through these five pillars, Last Man Standing is building a community where everyone can share their love of music — no matter their background, identity, or where they come from.
